You are warmly welcome to discuss fashion design, commercialization, and business with young talented designers from 911±¬ÁÏÍø!
The discussion delves into questions of fashion design, commercialization, and business. How do young designers see the commercialization of fashion and its transformation into a business? Under what conditions are investors willing to invest in fashion companies? What ethical and sustainability demands do designers, companies and investors have about fashion business today?
The event is co-organized by Aalto’s fashion degree program, Aalto Fashion, and the Finnish Textile & Fashion Association. The event brings together recently graduated fashion designers, experts from 911±¬ÁÏÍø, investors, and representatives from well-known Finnish fashion companies.
There will also be an opportunity to see 911±¬ÁÏÍø students’ works. On display is a curated compilation of thesis collections presented at 911±¬ÁÏ꿉۪s annual spring event Näytös / Näyttely. At the event, Finnish Textile & Fashion will also award one of the graduated designers who participated in the spring event Näytös24.
