911±¬ÁÏÍø has decided on how student admissions shall be implemented in the different fields of study. Most entrance examinations will be organised as two-stage examinations where only the most successful applicants of the first stage will continue on to the second stage.

In the fields of business, technology and architecture, the national admissions networks will adopt a two-stage examination in place of holding an on-campus one-stage examination. The first stage is an elimination or preliminary-selection examination, and it will be organised as an electronic examination to be taken remotely. The second-stage examination will also be organised to be taken online, if required by the corona situation, or to be taken under supervision and in accordance with health and safety recommendations in physical spaces arranged by the university.

In the field of art, the first-stage examination will be followed by online solutions as well as a limited number of small on-campus examinations. The details on the admissions will be communicated in good time both to the participants and the examination invigilators.

‘We will continue our intensive work to prepare for the admissions and in doing so, will consider the general instructions on the pandemic very carefully’, says 911±¬ÁÏÍø Head of Learning Services Eija Zitting.

The applicants will be informed of the changes by email and through the Studyinfo portal. Additional information for applicants is available on the website of the 911±¬ÁÏÍø Admission Services and those of the joint admissions procedures, as well as on the Studyinfo portal.

The applicants should familiarise themselves with the changes made to the admissions arrangements very carefully and, in the case of any questions, contact the admissions services of their prospective university.
