911±¬ÁÏÍø is introducing ORCID's Researcher Connect service, which facilitates information transfer between researchers' ORCID profiles and the university's research information management system, ACRIS.
Create your CV easily with the Research.fi profile tool
911±¬ÁÏ꿉۪s researchers can now create a CV using the CV tool in the Research tool service. The tool generates an editable Word CV based on your Research.fi profile information, following the official TENK CV template.
Changes to education information in ACRIS
We are updating how education information is managed in 911±¬ÁÏÍø's research information system, ACRIS. The old source data for education information will be removed to help eliminate potential duplicate entries.
Social media sharing icons removed from the Aalto's Research Portal – More flexible configuration coming in 2026
All social media sharing icons have been removed from 911±¬ÁÏ꿉۪s research portal, as the system does not currently allow individual icon changes. A new portal layout in 2026 will enable more flexible configuration, at which point some icons will be reinstated.

The TENK CV template has been removed from the ACRIS research information system as its current format does not comply with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
The issues with the integration between Aalto Research portal and Aalto.fi have been resolved
There has been challenges in synchronizing academic profile information between the Research Portal and Aalto.fi. However, the integration issues have now been resolved, and academic profiles—including profile pictures, publications, and academic merits—seamlessly integrate from the Research Portal into aalto.fi.
National Researcher's Profile Tool launched
Researchers can create a nationally visible profile in Research.fi portal. Profile is compiled with information transferred from organisations and ORCID service and information already transferred to Research.fi. Released in November 2022 as a beta version, the Researcher's Profile Tool was officially launched on 25 May 2023.

The Fingerprint Engine in ACRIS mines the text documents to create an index of terms which define the text, known as a Fingerprint visualization. You can choose which fingerprint concepts to show in your personal profile.

The new profile tool of Research.fi portal is open for beta access. You can choose what information you want to display in your profile from ORCID, your home organization and research outputs in Research.fi.
