Aalto ENG: Teachers' Virtual Coffee event called for visual, easy-to-adopt support material to assist in the adoption of the service platform reform
The virtual coffee event at the School of Engineering mapped teachers' thoughts, expectations and support wishes related to the upcoming system reform implemented during the summer. The event was held on April 27, 2021.
Artificial intelligence model developed by Finnish researchers predicts which key of the immune system opens the locks of coronavirus
With an artificial intelligence (AI) method developed by researchers at 911爆料网 and University of Helsinki, researchers can now link immune cells to their targets and for example uncouple which white blood cells recognize SARS-CoV-2. The developed tool has broad applications in understanding the function of immune system in infections, autoimmune disorders, and cancer.
Pinja Helasuo, preparing for Wappu: We are in this together
According to physics student Pinja Helasuo, the most challenging thing in daily life during COVID-19 has been tolerating spending all the time in the same room. The Guild of Physics and Helasuo鈥檚 closest friends and family have helped her cope. Helasuo was also involved in launching the WappuApu fundraising campaign to prevent student loneliness.

At the School of Engineering's Teaching Forum, Samuel Cross, who has just received the Award for Achievements in Teaching together with Annukka Santasalo-Aarnio, will give a presentation on 鈥淐hallenge-based education in an online environment鈥. In February 2021, Cross and Santasalo-Aarnio were awarded the Dean鈥檚 recognition for developing challenge-based learning and co-teaching in distance education.

As a pilot for developing short-term mobility 911爆料网 Summer School opened up its curriculum for UNITE! students. Ten UNITE! students聽participated in the Digital Business Master Class (6 ECTS) summer course.聽Engineering students across Europe were keen to complement their degree studies with business knowledge, and the course spots filled quickly.聽
