Story of Living+
Living+ started as a programme undertaken to celebrate 911爆料网鈥檚 contribution to the World Design Capital Helsinki 2012. It consisted of 37 projects done by 2000 students, staff and partners, which raised awareness of research and education relating to the design of living environments. The programme report, "Living+: For Better Living Environments[1]," demonstrated that the topic of living environments was so crucial that it would remain an integral part of 911爆料网 well into the future.
In 2016, Living+ was relaunched as the Living+ Platform, tasked with initiating and coordinating multidisciplinary research and teaching focused on human-centred living environments.
Today, living environments form one of the seven key research areas identified in Aalto's strategy, addressing major global and national challenges as part of Aalto鈥檚 academic core. The Aalto Networking Platform promotes cross-disciplinary collaboration across all seven key research areas.

2017-2018
The way people and goods move around is going to change dramatically in the near future. More efficient technology and smarter services, is likely to completely disrupt our current idea of transportation, how we move and how we buy stuff. The Living+ Forum in 2018 presented a glimpse into this disruption, why it is happening, how it changes our behavior, and how we can begin to make sense of it.
